ROYSE attends the presentation of the ART-16 as a sponsor

Last Thursday, July 28, the presentation of the ART-16 took place; a single-seater racing car designed and manufactured entirely by a group of students from the School of Engineering at the University of Seville.

ROYSE, Rodamientos y Servicios, could not miss such an important event to show, once again, our full support and commitment to those who will be the engineering professionals of the future. Another point that justifies our presence at the event is that we are sponsors of the initiative.

Our company is always willing to participate and collaborate with initiatives of this type, as we are aware that only by investing in young people and innovation will we be able to move forward and continue improving.

Presentation of the ART-16

The ART-16 is a single-seater designed to participate in Formula Student, which is the most recognized university-level motorsport competition in Europe. And at ROYSE, we wanted to stand by the young people from the University of Seville who are going to enter this sporting event.

Furthermore, the main objective of the motorsport competition is to help stimulate and develop the skills of young engineers. This activity rewards the initiative and innovation of the participants.

Formula Student is held annually. To date, it has taken place in both European and non-European countries. This includes the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Hungary, the USA, Canada, Brazil, Japan, Australia, and Spain. However, the same rules based on Formula SAE are followed at all times, which are divided into static and dynamic events.

In the former, the design, cost analysis, and the team’s business plan are evaluated, while in the dynamic events, the effectiveness, efficiency, performance, and reliability of the single-seater are prioritized.

Currently, the ART-16 is undergoing testing at the Jerez circuit to subsequently participate in FS Germany (Hockenheim) and FS Spain (Montmeló).

The entire ROYSE team wishes them the best of luck in aiming for the top of the podium. Good luck, champions!
