ROYSE returns as a sponsor for the ART-17 presentation

Once again, ROYSE has attended as a sponsor for the ART-17 presentation. A new racing single-seater whose manufacturing process has been carried out entirely by students from the School of Engineers at the University of Seville during a long year of work.

On this occasion, the presentation ceremony was held on July 17 at Club Antares in Seville and featured collaboration through an agreement with the Aeronautical Incubator of the Chamber of Commerce and the University of Seville. The event also hosted the student association ARUS Andalucía Racing, the true protagonists of the project.

ROYSE had this mandatory event on its agenda, just like last year, to support young engineering professionals and the innovation needed in the sector to continue advancing. We were so committed back then that we ended up being project sponsors.

ART-17 Presentation, new single-seater

The main objective of this event was to showcase the results of a year’s work by young students from the School of Engineers at the University of Seville. These students are part of ARUS Andalucía Racing, a group of over 60 engineering students whose work involves the research, design, and manufacturing of a competition single-seater.

The aim is for them to participate in the international university competition “Formula Student”, the most recognized university motorsport competition in Europe, with over 600 universities worldwide participating.

The event is held annually and aims to stimulate and develop attitudes in these young engineers, whom ROYSE sees as the future of motorsport. Additionally, it seeks to reward the initiative and innovation they have achieved by following the Formula SAE rules. This evaluates, on the one hand, design, costs, and business plan; and, on the other, the effectiveness, efficiency, performance, and reliability of the vehicles.
