The RENAULT group and ROYSE have developed a new project, which consists of offering customers the possibility to collect their order from the smart lockers installed at the factory.

However, first, we will begin by explaining what the innovative term “Smart Locker” is.

Smart Lockers are automated lockers where exchanges can be made easily, securely, and without the need to coordinate a prior meeting.

Their use will bring about significant independence for the buyer, allowing them to continue with their tasks, trusting in the privacy of this service that ensures product delivery without needing to be present and with information on the delivery status.

In this case, the project consists of the implementation of smart lockers as a delivery and collection point for urgent materials, outside warehouse hours, or defined at that location, optimizing delivery and facilitating collection (24 hours a day).

This is enhanced by the establishment of two lockers named SEVILLA 1 and SEVILLA 2.

And now you might ask, how does it work?

The operation is very simple.

First, the supplier will select the locker via a web application or directly on the cabinet screen.

If you need to know which locker to choose based on package size, don’t worry. The application itself will indicate which one best fits based on the dimensions you provide.

This way, the person or carrier making the delivery will receive a code on their mobile, which they will enter into the cabinet, and the defined locker will open.

At that moment, the applicant or buyer will receive another code on their mobile with which they can retrieve the order.
