FYH Roller Bearing Housing Unit

SEALED HOUSING UNIT WITH SPHERICAL ROLLER BEARING

INTRODUCTION FYH MOUNTED UNIT WITH SPHERICAL BEARING

Over 60 years of experience and innovation in the field of ball bearing mounted units have led to the manufacture of a spherical roller bearing unit that covers a wide range of industrial applications.

Housing and bearing are manufactured by FYH using the highest quality materials. Current design and production process with the most modern means.

TRIPLE SEAL

±2° self-alignment capacity.
The triple-lip seal together with a special sealing ring ensures contact at any virtual shaft misalignment angle. FYH’s patented seal continuously protects the bearing against a wide variety of wet and dry contaminants, considerably increasing the bearing’s service life. It also incorporates the possibility of making the unit free or fixed by changing only one retaining ring.

TYPE E

The units are designed to be dimensionally interchangeable with Type E housings and with most spherical bearing pillow block units.

The base holes are slotted to allow replacement by most existing designs.

SEMI-SOLID BASE

One-piece ductile iron housings.

The iron housing is approximately twice as strong as cast iron, and the semi-solid base design provides excellent attachment with great rigidity to the base.

The standard FYH housing is ductile iron, although other materials are available.

LUBRICATION

FYH bearing grease is calcium sulfonate complex-based with 100% synthetic base oil. FYH grease has excellent properties at high and low temperatures, with extreme pressure and anti-wear additives. It also offers excellent performance against corrosion and water ingress.

Temperature range -40°C to 170°C.
