ROYSE will host the Technical Workshop on Maintenance and Repair of Centrifugal Pumps at its facilities. - Royse
Next Friday, October 20, ROYSE’s facilities in Seville will host the Technical Workshop on Maintenance and Repair of Centrifugal Pumps, organised by our supplier Loctite. Specialist technicians from the brand will travel to the Andalusian capital to deliver training primarily aimed at industrial-sector professionals interested in the maintenance and repair of centrifugal pumps.

The workshop, which will be held at our Seville facilities, located at Parque Sevilla Industrial, C/ Parsi 7, No. 5, will include two morning sessions. This way, anyone interested will be able to attend at the time that best suits their needs. The first session will run from 9:00 to 10:45 and the second from 11:15 to 13:00.

What will be covered in the Technical Workshop on Maintenance and Repair of Centrifugal Pumps?

The main focus of this workshop will be to demonstrate, in a practical way and led by Loctite technicians, the technological advances that have made centrifugal pumps faster and more reliable. In addition, special attention will be paid to the applications and advantages of these advances for industry.

Key benefits include increased reliability and, above all, greater equipment durability, while also reducing workplace accidents and the number of breakdowns or failures—something maintenance departments will undoubtedly appreciate.

Likewise, the content of the workshop is divided into three parts, structured as follows:

1. Mechanical fitting:

· Retainers: comparison of traditional methods vs. adhesive assemblies

· Gaskets: why do gaskets leak?

· Threadlocking devices

· Sealing threaded joints in piping

2. Cleaning and surface treatments:

· Prevention of oxidation and seizing in bolts

· Rust removal

· Descalers and degreasing

3. Surface protection and reconstruction

· Reconstruction of metal surfaces

· Composite coatings (anti-wear)

· Extending equipment service life and increasing efficiency

Throughout the workshop, the participating trainers will carry out demonstrations of all the points. In addition, you will be able to put what you have learned into practice, as the products and materials presented during the workshop will be available.
